The Beauty of Baking Soda


Baking soda  is one heck of a multipurpose product, and it can be used to beef up your beauty regimen. Curious? Check these out:

Dry shampoo:

Lightly sprinkle onto roots and massage. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes and brush out.

Clean hair care tools:

Remove natural oil build-up and  product residue from combs and brushes by soaking in a solution of 1 tsp of baking soda in a small basin of warm water.


Add 1 tbsp. of baking soda with your regular amount of shampoo. Wash as normal and rinse thoroughly. Condition.


Mix 3 parts baking soda with one part water and apply to face. Let sit for up to 15 minutes and rinse.

Note: If you have sensitive skin do a patch test.


Mix 2 parts baking soda wit hone part water to make a paste. Dip in wet toothbrush. Brush and rinse.

Foot Soak/Exfoliant;

Dissolve 3 tbsp of  Baking Soda in a basin of warm water soak feet and relax. For a gentle exfoliating treatment, mix 3tbsp of baking soda with about 1 tsbp to make a paste. Gently scrub all over feet, using foot brush for additional exfoliation.
